I’m Glad Someone Finally Asked Zachary Levi About Tangled Recasting Flynn Rider: ‘We All Care’

Change can be hard, which is why some fans were worried when the live-action version of Tangled was announced by Disney. The original 2010 animated film is beloved by many so, to do a live-action version would mean for some pretty big shoes to fill. However it seems like the film has some big support from the original Flynn Rider (a.k.a. Eugene Fitzherbert), Zachary Levi, who recently gave his blessing to the project, and I’m glad someone asked about the recasting controversy.

While a portion of fans may be concerned about the live-action Disney remake, Levi seems to be on board and excited about Tangled hitting the big screen again. When asked about how he feels about the project, Levi was effusive about his support of the new actors cast as Flynn Rider and Rapunzel, Milo Manheim and Teagan Croft, respectively. While he has made casting suggestions in the past, he seems content with the decision the team made. He told ScreenRant:

I’m stoked for all those guys. I want everybody to succeed. I want everybody to succeed because I care very deeply about the IP and the world, and the new Flynn Rider, and we all care about that. And I want that live-action movie to be great.
