“My sweet 5-year-old boy is having separation anxiety,” Trainor shared in a video posted to Instagram Aug. 13, “so he’s started using his stuffies, his Smurfette, and was like, ‘This is Mama, this is Mama,’ and I thought, ‘I’ll make a mama, I’ll make a stuffie that looks like Mama.'”
“The thing is, I did,” she added, holding up a stuffed doll made in her likeness, “and he loves it. He kisses it, he hugs it.”
Riley then ran over to the Grammy winner to ask what she as doing as he cuddled the doll and told Trainor he loved her.
“Showing off your mama doll,” she replied. “Aw, you love it? You think this looks just like me?”
