Folks who spent years watching the Marvel movies in order were recently treated to Destin Daniel Cretton’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which broke box office records. The movie had a thrilling ensemble of characters, but it turns out Rosario Dawson shot a scrapped scene, reprising her role as Claire Temple on the big screen for the first time. The actress recently broke her silence about being cut from the blockbuster, but she also had a hopeful message.

The trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day featured Jon Bernthal‘s Punisher, marking the first time he played Frank Castle in a movie. But folks who watched the Netflix Marvel shows would have loved to see Claire Temple appear in her cut scene. While appearing at GalaxyCon (via Twitter), the Ashoka star revealed how she found out her sene was dropped, offering:
