The 3-Day Road Trip That Changed Tucker Wetmore’s Life

When it comes to country music you pretty much need to be in Nashville to start your career, as it is the home of country music.

Tucker Wetmore knew this and that is why he and his mom decided to drive from Oregon, his home state, across America to begin his country career in Music City.

Wetmore told me on Taste of Country Nights, “It was around 2020, so it was in the middle of COVID and I was like ‘Mom, I really wanna do this,’ and she goes, ‘Just go do it.'”

The “Brunette” singer said that was the moment he dropped everything and packed his stuff to go to Nashville.

“[We] came in a car. I had a Subaru Legacy and me and my mom drove around the country, and I had COVID at the time — I was getting over COVID,” he relates.

“So I was just beat at the time, for three days, and we were driving all of those three days. So she drove most of it, God bless her,” Wetmore adds.
