Captain Marvel star Brie Larson whips LGBT+ fans into a frenzy with ‘baby gay’ tease

Is Brie Larson gay? It seems the Captain Marvel star spent hours pondering exactly this when she was a child, according to her latest YouTube video.

On Thursday (14 January), Larson posted a video on her YouTube channel in which she took online quizzes about herself.

For the final quiz of the video – “Which lesser known Brie Larson character are you?” – the Captain Marvel star gave one answer that fans are convinced is a hint she could have, at least at one point, thought she was gay.

The first question was: “You’re 10 years old, how do you spend an hour of recess?”

Larson responded: “Searching WikiHow on the library computer for ‘how do you know if you’re gay’.”

The clip was immediately shared on Twitter, and fans began declaring that their “dreams have come true”.

One Twitter user insisted: “Sapphics won, as always.”

Twitter ‘prays’ for Brie Larson to come out as gay, while others roll their eyes.

A quiz answer, of course, is not any kind of confirmation of a person’s sexuality, and others were less convinced.

One person wrote: “Look, I am a thirsty homosexual too guys, but that doesn’t mean s**t.”

Another hoped that they could will the rumours into being true, writing: “Please gay spirits MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR THE GAYS!! We need a strong intro for 2021!!!!!!”

Some begged Larson for confirmation, with one person tweeting: “I’m actually unhinged right now did this b***h really just throw that baby gay comment in there thinking we wouldn’t completely unpack it on the time line??? Brie Larson did you just come out YES OR NO.”

Brie Larson blew minds with ‘topping lesbians’ comment.

Appearing on a Comic Con panel in 2019 with her Marvel co-star Tessa Thompson, Brie Larson made a comment about “topping lesbians” that sent LGBT+ Twitter wild.

The Marvel Avengers stars were asked by a moderator what they’d like to see next in the MCU when an audience member shouted: “I just want to see lesbians.”

Thomson agreed, to the delight of the crowd. But it was Larson who won the biggest cheer of the night when she was asked to round off the panel with a closing remark.

“How do I top lesbians?” she asked.

Without missing a beat, Thompson replied: “I’m sure the lesbians could show you, right after this panel.”
