Mine & Yours Celebrates 13 Years of Pre-Loved Luxury With Jeanne Beker

Part of the beauty of luxury consignment is never knowing when you might stumble upon that coveted bag, archival jacket or long-admired label you’ve been searching for. On October 21, Mine & Yours celebrated the enduring appeal of a great designer find, bringing Toronto’s fashion crowd together for an anniversary party with plenty of style and a charitable cause worth dressing up for.

To celebrate 13 years in business, founder Courtney Watkins co-hosted the Women Who Wear the Future soirée alongside style icon Jeanne Beker, welcoming more than 200 fashion-forward guests to the legendary El Mocambo.

To mark the milestone, some of the night’s most sought-after finds hit the runway in a shoppable Fall 2026 presentation featuring a curated selection of pre-loved designer pieces, from statement handbags to ultra-rare finds. Models showcased womenswear and menswear from Chanel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, among other fashion houses. Off the runway, a live performance by Cleopatra Williams and a DJ set by Sophie Jones kept the party going.

Beyond the designer ensembles, it was the people and the purpose that made the evening memorable for Watkins. “Thirteen years of Mine & Yours, and I think this might have been one of my favourite nights yet,” she shared. “Seeing the room come alive with so many incredible people, all there to celebrate fashion and support a cause that really matters, was pretty special.”

The event also included an on-stage conversation between Watkins and Beker, touching on entrepreneurship, resilience and the importance of women supporting women. For Beker, a breast cancer survivor, the charitable component carried a personal significance too. Held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event supported The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, with all silent auction proceeds going toward cancer research and care.

“Getting to do it alongside Jeanne Beker made it even more meaningful,” Watkins said. “She’s someone I’ve admired for years, and what I love most is that she’s every bit as genuine, generous, and inspiring in person as you’d hope.” Beker has also partnered with Mine & Yours on The Jeanne Beker Edit, an exclusive collection of pieces from her personal wardrobe. For longtime admirers of her style, the edit offers a chance to shop rare finds with a personal connection to one of Canada’s most recognizable fashion voices.

Founded in Vancouver in 2013, Mine & Yours has grown to five locations across Canada. Recent pop-ups at Holt Renfrew in Mississauga’s Square One Shopping Centre and Calgary have extended its reach into new markets. The Canadian luxury consignment retailer offers coveted designer pieces at more accessible prices while giving pre-loved clothes and accessories a second life. For everyday fashion lovers, the brand offers a more considered way to shop for luxury, proving that a designer bag doesn’t lose its appeal simply because someone else got to enjoy it first.

Looking back on the evening, Watkins shares that the goal was to create “a night that felt fun, fashionable, and full of heart.” Combining a shoppable runway with fundraising for a cause close to Beker’s heart, Women Who Wear the Future was a fitting way to mark 13 years of Mine & Yours—and the many pre-loved pieces still waiting for their next chapter.
