Erin Foster Reveals Simon Tikhman Engagement Inspired Nobody Wants This

It’s safe to say everybody would want a proposal like this. 

Erin Foster just revealed that the uber romantic way in which Adam Brody’s Noah gets down on one knee for Kristen Bell’s Joanne in Nobody Wants This season three was inspired by real events that happened close to home. 

Really close to home. Like from her own life. 

As she revealed, the onscreen proposal is almost exactly how Erin’s husband Simon Tikhman proposed to her in 2019—fake wedding and all. 

“About a month before he proposed,” Erin narrated an Oct. 28 Instagram video, “we got this invitation to a wedding vow renewal. It had attire and a schedule for the whole weekend.”

But while Simon played off the invitation, which was supposed to be from a work colleague, even going to far as to say Erin didn’t need to tag along, it turns out that was his ruse to get Erin to Napa so he could pop the question.
