Drake Is Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artist in a Day for 2026
The rapper dropped Iceman on Friday alongside two other surprise LPs
Drake shattered Spotify records on Friday, less than 24-hours following his simultaneous release of Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour at midnight.
According to Spotify, the rapper became the most-streamed artist in a single day of 2026, thanks to his three-album drop. Iceman also secured the most streams for an album in a single day this year, while “Make Them Cry” is most-streamed song in a single day in 2026 so far.
Elsewhere, the trio of albums collectively delivered the biggest first 24-hour streaming debut globally for any artist on Amazon Music in 2026.
The 43 songs across all three albums mark Drake’s first solo full-lengths since 2023’s For All the Dogs, and a follow-up to his 2025 PartyNextDoor collaboration, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. Iceman spans 18 tracks and, on Apple Music, is listed at one hour and eight minutes, while Maid of Honour contains 14 songs and runs 45 minutes and Habibti adds another 11 tracks, making them Drake’s ninth, 10th, and 11th studio albums.
The guest features throughout the LPs highlight a mix of frequent collaborators and up-and-comers including Future, 21 Savage, Molly Santana, Stunna Sandy, Sexyy Red, Central Cee, Popcaan, Iconic Savvy, Loe Shimmy, Qendresa, and PartyNextDoor.
Drake’s album trilogy are his first solo records since his highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar in 2025 and in the aftermath of Lamar’s defining diss track, “Not Like Us.” On Iceman, Drake takes aim at everyone from Lamar and A$AP Rocky to Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge.
