Candy-hued polish? Floral designs? It officially feels like spring.

Along with blooming flowers, brighter days, and bluer skies, spring welcomes a high dose of candy-coloured inspiration by way of fresh fashion and beauty trends. Within the celebrity beauty circuit, spring-ready manicures are following suit.

From Hailey Bieber‘s glow-in-the-dark green talons to Kourtney Kardashian’s cherry-speckled set, consider vibrant colour palettes and dainty floral nail designs your sign that spring has officially sprung. Below, we’ve got all the inspiration you need for your next appointment this season, cosigned by your favourite stars. Plus, we’re breaking down how pro manicurists like Zola Ganzorigt and Britney Tokyo achieved these looks, and how you can too.

Hailey Bieber’s glow-in-the-dark green set

As the pioneer of last year’s glazed donut manicure trend, we’re always curious about what Hailey Bieber will do next with her nails. Her most recent set? These neon green almond tips with 3D chrome detailing. On Instagram, Bieber’s nail tech Zola Ganzorigt revealed they cycled through 50 different shades of polish before landing on this custom glow-in-the-dark colour for a day of festival fun at Coachella. To achieve this slime green shade, Ganzorigt mixed OPI GelColor’s No Faux Yellow and Green Come True polishes with a base coat and a sprinkle of glow-in-the-dark powder. For the gold details, she then drew lines with OPI’s Suzi’s Slinging Mezcal gel polish before curing. She finished the look by rubbing the brand’s Chrome Effects Powder in the Gold Digger shade over each of the gold lines. Turns out these neon nails accessorized the Rhode founder’s pared-back festival attire perfectly.

Jennifer Lopez’s floral decal nails

Groundbreaking or not, we love to adorn ourselves and our nails with floral patterns for spring — much to the dismay of The Devil Wears Prada antagonist Miranda Priestly — but we just can’t seem to help it. Especially when celebrities like Jennifer Lopez debut dreamy flower-bedecked sets like this one crafted by Tom Bachik, inspiring us to do the same. Bachik labels Lopez “spring queen” in his Instagram caption, and we can totally see why. What says spring more than these blossoming tips?  To replicate her milk bath manicure, search through Amazon, Etsy, or your local beauty supply store to find a pack of miniature dried flower nail decals to your taste. Then, use a neutral shade of nude-pink polish as your base colour, and apply the flowers overtop. Lock it all in with a layer of top coat, and you’ve got yourself a J.Lo-inspired spring set.

Selena Gomez’s rainbow Skittles set

’Tis the season of candy-coloured palettes, and this snapshot of Selena Gomez posted by her go-to manicurist (also the aforementioned Bachik) earlier this month is right on trend. With this multi-coloured Skittles-inspired set, we can practically “taste the rainbow” through our screens. There’s some speculation from fans in Bachik’s comments over whether or not this photo may be a throwback to her “999” music video nails or a brand-new mani, but either way, the post comes at the perfect time for the spring season. If you’re indecisive when it comes to planning your manicures, these rainbow nails are your answer. All you’ll need is five bold shades of polish (or 10 if you really want that mix-and-match look) for each finger on one hand, then repeat the pattern on your other hand to get Gomez’s look. Sweet, right?

Gwen Stefani’s spring-bling talons

The maximalist version of J. Lo’s milk bath floral mani? This flower power set by celebrity nail artist Eri Ishizu on Gwen Stefani. Above, observe a mega-sized French manicure dotted with rhinestone flowers on XXL square tips that are so Stefani’s style (check her Instagram feed for lots of nail action if you don’t believe us). In Ishizu’s post, she shared that she used Aprés Nail’s Chaun Legend Square XX Long nails to achieve this ultra-long length. As for polish, she used the brand’s Fairy Wings shade as a base and Kunzite Light for the French tips. To recreate the rhinestone flowers yourself, any itty-bitty craft store bought gems can be used and placed on the nails in a flower formation — just use Ishizu’s photo as your guide.

Kourtney Kardashian’s mini cherry mani

Kourtney Kardashian’s micro cherry mani is spring-ready and oh-so-cute. This intricate set was hand-painted by A-list manicurist Kim Truong — who has also been responsible for some of sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner’s best nail looks over the years. It can be tricky to replicate such small details at home without the help of a pro, so try sending screenshots of Kourt’s cherry mani to your nail tech ahead of your next appointment to avoid the at-home hassle. Or, if you prefer taking more of a DIY approach to your nails, browse Etsy to find fruit-pattern nail art stickers perfectly suited for this set. Cherries? Lemons? Strawberries? The possibilities are endless.

Georgia May Jagger’s blue chrome claws

Thought chrome nails were passé? Think again. This spring, prepare to see more colourful takes on the chrome nail trend — like these mermaid blue chrome claws that Georgia May Jagger wore last weekend. L.A.-based artist Britney Tokyo, who is known for her boldly coloured, OTT manicures on celebrities from Paris Hilton to Christina Aguilera, is the manicurist behind Jagger’s aqua tips. To take an already cool blue chrome set to the next level like Georgia, apply rhinestone hearts courtesy of a craft store at the centre of each nail. Posing with this festival-approved set for her 1.3 million followers on Instagram, it’s clear that model Georgia May (daughter of Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall) inherited her parents’ cool charm.
