Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman) is directing a remake of the horror classic Nosferatu, and Deadline reports that Willem Dafoe is in talks to join the cast. Actor Lance Kerwin, best known to horror fans for playing Mark Petrie in Tobe Hooper’s Salem’s Lot (1979), has passed away at just 62 years old, Variety reports this afternoon. “An autopsy to determine the cause of death is being conducted, according to his daughter Savanah,” Variety reports.
