Known to horror fans for her role in the creature feature Them!, we’ve learned the sad news today that actress and singer Joan Weldon has passed away at the age of 90 years old. Weldon’s family says she “passed away peacefully” at home in Florida on February 11. There are thus far two seasons of the South Korean zombie series “Kingdom” streaming on Netflix, but before a third season we’re getting a spinoff episode this year. Described as a “special episode,” it’s titled “Kingdom: Ashin of the North,” and it tells the story of “Ashin,” the heiress to a northern Jurchen town who briefly appeared in the show’s season two finale.
