Aliens are headed to the arctic in the upcoming sci-fi invasion film Slash/Back, and the first clip today gives us our first introduction to the teen heroes doing battle with aliens. In Slash/Back, “Maika and her ragtag friends discover an alien invasion in their tiny arctic hamlet, and it’s up to them to fight back. The latest actor to join the cast of Sony’s Kraven the Hunter movie is Possessor star Christopher Abbott, who will be playing Marvel Character “The Foreigner” in the movie. It looks like the next video game franchise to make the leap to the screen is God of War, with Deadline reporting that Amazon Prime Video is in talks for a live action TV series! The executive producer and star of documentary series “Hellier,” Greg Newkirk will be executive producing an upcoming cosmic horror feature titled The Buildout, BD has learned. From writer/director Zeshaan Younas (Prefigured) and producer Trevor Dillon (The Vicious), The Buildout is currently being fan-funded over on Indiegogo, where it has surpassed its original $60,000 goal.
