Ellie Goulding, Anyma Drop Collab Single ‘Hypnotized’: WATCH

2025: the year of Ellie Goulding‘s comeback. On Friday, EDM star Anyma officially released his electropop single featuring Goulding, “Hypnotized,” weeks after their performance of the track at his Sphere residency went viral online.

“Ellie’s voice and creativity made the entire process feel so natural from when we first started exploring working together,” Anyma told Rolling Stone. “Of course premiering our song at Sphere Las Vegas with such an immersive visual made our collaboration all the more rewarding. Sharing that moment live with Ellie at Sphere was a personal highlight for me.”

Clips of the song’s visual — which featured an eye-capturing, digitally-altered closeup of Goulding’s face — quickly spread across X and TikTok, with fans sharing their excitement for the advent of new music from Goulding in the electronic music space. (Goulding has scored hits with Calvin Harris collabs in the past.)

“Collaborating on ‘Hypnotized’ with Anyma has been an incredibly enriching and wildly exciting ride,” the pop star tells Rolling Stone. “He is a creative visionary with an unmatched ability to marry sound and visual art in a way no one else can.”

“He really understood the nuances of my vocals and how I wanted to approach the track,” she adds. “Joining him at the Sphere in Las Vegas to bring the song to life felt like an immersive fever dream that I won’t soon forget.”

Anyma’s Sphere residency has been going viral for the last several weeks. The electronic music star has found a distinct way to marry music and technology in his shows, including “volumetric capture,” which creates a three-dimensional sound experience.

“It’s been great to see the track receive so much early love and support before its release – it’s definitely a song and piece of visual art I’m proud to have shared with Ellie,” Anyma says.

Goulding spent 2024 collaborating with electronic artists after releasing her excellent album, Higher Than Heaven, in 2023. Last year, she joined Calvin Harris on “Free,” sang “In My Dreams” with Four Tet, and dueted with J Balvin on Hugel and Topic’s “I Adore You.”

For his part, Anyma will continue his historic The End of Genesys show this weekend. He’s the first electronic music artist to headline the new venue, which has hosted the Eagles, Dead & Company, U2, and Phish since opening in 2023.
