New ‘Terminator’ Game ‘Terminator 2D: NO FATE’ Leaked for PC, Consoles
After bringing Terminator: Resistance to fans back in 2019, Reef Entertainment are set to return with another Terminator game, thanks to the Australian Classification website. A listing has been discovered for an as-yet-unannounced title called Terminator 2D: NO FATE, which is slated for release on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Details on the game are nominal for the moment (seeing as it’s unannounced), but it appears that Reef Entertainment will be developing and publishing Terminator 2D: NO FATE, as opposed to having Teyon handling publishing duties (which they did for Terminator: Resistance).
If you haven’t played Terminator: Resistance (which is available on Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series), the game features an original story based on The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, nearly 30 years after Judgment Day, Resistance expands upon the Future War glimpsed at in the films, and introduces a new hero, Jacob Rivers, a soldier in the Resistance Pacific Division.
The game was followed by the “Annihilation Line” DLC, which saw Jacob Rivers assisting Kyle Reese in the investigation of an outpost that had mysteriously gone silent. Terminator: Resistance is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series.
