From the executive producer of Rick and Morty and the Oscar-nominated animated feature Anomalisa comes The Weird Kidz, an animated creature feature that’s being billed as a love letter to ’80s coming-of-age movies and “late night cinema frights.” The film was Written/Directed and single-handedly animated by Zach Passero over a period of eight years!

Producers for The Weird Kidz include master of horror Lucky McKee (May, The Woman, Poker Face, Masters of Horror) and Charles Horak (First Date, Wim Wenders: Desperado).
In the film, “A trio of preteen boys have their friendship tested when a camping trip they thought would be all boobs and booze turns into an epic night of misdemeanors, monsters, and ritual sacrifice.”
