Megan Moroney’s Top 10 Debut for ‘Am I Okay’

Megan Moroney‘s sophomore album, Am I Okay?, only dropped on July 12 and it’s already making a splash. Her latest accomplishment will set her up for much more than “okay.”

The “I’m Not Pretty” singer has landed her first Top 10 spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart with her new album, hitting No. 9.

Per Billboard, her project “bows at No. 9 with 43,000 equivalent album units earned” — her largest week ever.

Before the full album released, Moroney had a few songs hit the Hot Country Songs chart, including “No Caller ID,” “28th of June” and “Indifferent.” The relative newcomer first gained notoriety with her breakthrough single, “Tennessee Orange,” from her debut album, Lucky, which peaked at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2023. The hit single received multiple awards nominations, including some from country’s CMA and ACM.

At current, Moroney is on the Sun Goes Down Tour with Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band. The upcoming superstar and veteran have shared the stage and performed many songs together while on the road, including Chesney’s “You and Tequila,” “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” and “All the Pretty Girls.”

Look forward to watching this record-setting rising star get even bigger.

Top 20 Songs of 2024, Ranked (So Far)

New country artists rule this Top Country Songs of 2024 list, but that doesn’t mean traditional country isn’t represented early and often.

Airplay charts, sales data and streaming numbers helped make this list of country music’s Top 20 Songs of 2024, but staff and Taste of Country reader opinion were most influential.

Songs included on previous Top Country Songs lists were not eligible. A song may have been released in 2023, but it had to have the majority of recorded airplay or impact this year to count.
