She took a selfie with the National Guard there, paying tribute to them and their service in her Instagram’s caption.

Lopez, according to her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, is more nervous about performing at today’s inauguration than she was at the Super Bowl Halftime Show last year. “What’s interesting is she’s most nervous about Washington, D.C. because of the responsibility,” he told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show earlier this week. Through her inaugural performance, Lopez hopes to “inspire” and “bring people together,” A-Rod said.

It doesn’t matter if you’re Republican or Democrat, if you’re looking at the world right now, you know that we can do better—you know that. We can’t stay with this administration, we just can’t. It’s the definition of insanity.”
