Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion 2 is officially in production, with Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow returning to their beloved starring roles.
The film will also see the return of a handful of other stars from the original 1997 camp cult classic, including Janeane Garofalo as Heather, Tip Toe star Alan Cumming as Sandy Frink, Camryn Manheim as Toby and Julia Campbell as Christie.
The sequel’s new cast members include Keegan-Michael Key, Rob Huebel, Breckin Meyer, Patrick Warburton and Nathan Lee Graham in roles that are currently being kept under wraps.
Production began last week, with Tim Federle (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) in the director’s chair.
The film is set to stream exclusively on Hulu and Disney+.
