Vivian Wilson makes drag debut for immigration legal defense fund

Vivian Jenna Wilson, the estranged trans daughter of tech bro billionaire Elon Musk, has made her drag debut at a fundraiser for legal aid for immigrants.

Hosted by beloved and renowned drag artist Pattie Gonia, Vivian Jenna Wilson, 21, made her drag debut at the ‘SAVE HER!’ drag show, in Los Angeles, California, over the weekend.

The show, which saw Wilson dance on stage in front of cheering crowds in a full-length black catsuit and her trademark long blonde hair, took place at The Bellwether; all proceeds of the show, the full name of which was Pattie Gonia Presents SAVE HER! — An Environmental Drag Show, went towards “immigrant legal defense funds.”

A video of Wilson performing was posted to OutMagazine’s social media, and featured the trans icon waving the trans flag and performing solo – as well as fellow performers Sequoia, Vera!, Nini Coco, Jacob Ostler, Skirt Cocaine, Noxxia Datura and Trudy Tective.

She peformed under the name ‘Vivllainous’ – the same as her social media handle.

“We feel like now more than ever, there’s more hateful shit in this world. There are so many problems and when the problem seems so big, what we do is get local and we get to work,” Gonia said at the show (via Out).

Los Angeles has recently become the centre of several protests against ICE – the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The federal agency has been the focus of protests across the US in recent days, after masked agents stepped up the frequency of raids and arrests.

A record 2,200 people were arrested on 4 June, according to NBC, an increase from 660 per day during the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency, the BBC reported.

Vivian Wilson, who recently shared their desire to start drag, also recently celebrated five years since coming out as trans, and is perhaps best known for dragging Musk online.

Musk previously claimed that his ‘son’ was “killed [by the] woke mind virus”, something which Wilson replied to that she “looked pretty good for a dead b*tch” (in a Drag Race reference).

Wilson also slammed her father for performing a gesture similar to a Nazi salute at President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

“The Nazi salute sh*t was insane. Honey, we’re going to call a fig a fig, and we’re going to call a Nazi salute what it was. That sh*t was definitely a Nazi salute. The crowd is equally to blame, and I feel like people are not talking about that. That crowd should be denounced,” she said of Musk’s controversial gesture at Trump’s inauguration event, which the billionaire has repeatedly denied was a Nazi salute.
