Six upcoming Pedro Pascal movies you need to know about

Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic (Disney/Marvel)
Pedro Pascal is already a prolific actor, who has most recently been capturing our hearts as Joel on The Last of Us, but did you know he’s now officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
After that devastating The Last of Us episode, Pedro Pascal will soon be moving on to other projects – however, if you’re already missing him in TLOU, fans need not worry, there are plenty of chances to catch him on screen moving forward.
Many fans are particularly in love with Pascal due to his unwavering support for trans rights. Pascal’s sister Lux is trans, and in February he took to Instagram to share a picture that read: “A world without trans people has never existed and never will.”

Beneath the photo, Pascal let his near nine million followers on the platform know that he wouldn’t stand for anti-trans policies.
“I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist,” he wrote in the caption.
As Pascal’s fame continues to rise in Hollywood, he is bringing his unique flair to a diverse array of upcoming projects, including several in the MCU.
Here is a list of all the movies and TV shows Pascal is due to appear in this year.
Materialists
A24’s Materialists is due for release on June 13, starring Pedro Pascal, Chris Evans, and Dakota Johnson.
Pascal plays Harry Castillo, the “perfect man” who finds himself in a romantic stand off between Johnson’s matchmaker character, Lucy, and her ex, portrayed by Evans.
It’s the biggest love triangle since Edward, Jacob, and Bella, and Lucy will have to make a difficult choice between Harry and her ex – who is she going to choose?
Fantastic Four: First Steps
Pedro Pascal is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, in the highly anticipated Fantastic Four reboot.
In this thrilling new chapter of the MCU, Richards and his team—Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn)—are thrust into an epic battle against a new villain that threatens the stability of the universe.
The film will premiere on July 25.
Eddington
In Ari Aster’s Eddington, Pascal takes on the role of a small-town mayor in New Mexico alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, and Austin Butler.
Aster is known for disturbing films like Midsummer and Hereditary so we can expect Eddington to feature some eerieness too, but not much else is known about the film.
The Mandalorian and Grogu
Pedro Pascal returns to the Star Wars universe in The Mandalorian and Grogu, a new cinematic adventure that picks up where the popular Disney+ series left off.
This highly anticipated film follows Din Djarin (Pascal) and his adopted child, Grogu, as they journey across the galaxy in search of a new home for Grogu while facing off against both familiar and new enemies.
As the Mandalorian struggles with his responsibilities as a father figure, his bond with Grogu deepens, highlighting the emotional core of the Star Wars saga.

Avengers: Doomsday
Marvel announced the cast of the next Avengers film, Doomsday, a few weeks ago with a slated release date of May 1, 2026.
Chris Hemsworth will be returning as Thor, and the whole cast of Thunderbolts will also be in the film as well as a number of X-Men from the original films.
Pascal was also announced to be part of the cast, likely playing Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic while Robert Downey Jr. is expected to play Doctor Doom despite previously appearing in the MCU as Iron Man.
Avengers: Secret Wars
Now that he is officially a part of the MCU, Pascal will be returning to other Marvel films playing Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic.
Secret Wars is going to mark the end of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but not much else is known about the film.
