Lenny Kravitz Announces Second ‘Blue Electric Light’ Vegas Residency
The five-date run is set for August at Dolby Live at Park MGM
Lenny Kravitz has announced a second Las Vegas residency in support of his latest album Blue Electric Light. The five-date residency will run in August, a few months short of a year since his last, and take place at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
The 2025 Blue Electric Light residency will take place Aug. 1, 2, 6, 8, and 9. In October, Kravitz performed five sold-out shows at Dolby Live. Presale tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT for Citi Cardmembers, followed by a fan presale Thursday at 10 a.m. PT. General sale begins Saturday at 10 a.m. PT.
Blue Electric Light, which NPR described as a “kaleidoscope of soaring rock, psychedelic funk, gentle soul and more,” marks Kravitz’s first full-length project since his 2018 album Raise Vibrations. In an interview with NPR last May, the musician described the blue light as “positivity, vibrations, God, humanity, love.” The song’s final track and album title came to him in a dream, he said.
“The morning after I heard it in my head during my sleep, I went in the studio, played all the instruments, put it down, got the vocals on there,” he said. “My lead guitarist — he said ‘that’s the title of the album.’”
Ahead of his Las Vegas residency, Kravitz will headline BeachLife Festival alongside Alanis Morissette and Sublime. Other fest performers include Pretenders, Jackson Browne, the Beach Boys, Train, and Cake.
