Niall Horan Gifts Fan Who Manifested Sold-Out MSG Show Front Row Seats
“You promised me you’d be front row if I sold out MSG and here we are… you’re here but not in the front row. We can’t have that now can we?” Horan wrote the fan
Niall Horan is celebrating his success as a solo artist with a sold-out tour that includes not one, but two stops at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. On Thursday, he gave back to a fan who helped manifest the accomplishment by getting her tickets to the front row.
“A couple of years ago, a fan named Megan tweeted me saying, ‘Niall sell out MSG I’ll be front row.’ Well, tonight is the first of two sold-out shows here at the Garden and I just found out that Megan is here somewhere but she doesn’t have front-row seats,” said Horan in a TikTok video. “It doesn’t feel right. Let’s see what we can do.”
The video jumps to Megan telling the story of sending the tweet and how she “unfortunately couldn’t” get front-row tickets. In the video, Megan freaks out and falls to the ground crying as she opens a letter written by Horan upgrading her seat.
Horan wrote in the note, “You promised me you’d be front row if I sold out MSG and here we are… you’re here but not in the front row. We can’t have that now can we? Hope this helps.”
In the initial Twitter interaction from several years ago, Horan responded with disbelief that he’d be able to one day sell out MSG. “If I could I would,” he wrote at the time.
Horan also took the time to address the interaction during the show itself, as he told the crowd: “This tweet has done the rounds right up until this very moment, it’s pretty famous amongst our fan group … I’m not sure where Megan’s seats were but we had to move her up when I knew she was coming.”
Horan is currently touring the Untied States for his album The Show and is set to head to Mansfield next before stopping in Cincinnati, Toronto, Denver, Dallas and Los Angeles. Shawn Mendes joined Horan onstage to play “Treat You Better” during a performance in London.
