‘The Texas Chain Saw Massacre’ – Trailer Reveals New Map ‘The Mill’ Will Be Launching March 28!

Today’s the day we finally get an answer of sorts to what exactly is The Unknown in “All Things Wicked”, the latest chapter for Dead by Daylight from Behaviour Interactive. Available now on PC and consoles, “All Things Wicked” brings a new Killer in The Unknown, along with a new Survivor in Sable Ward into The Fog, along with a new Map in Greenville Square.

In keeping with the mysteriousness of The Unknown, the background of the new Killer is “believed to be a mysterious evil so heinous that investigating it almost immediately invited death.” As mentioned in the previous reveal of the new chapter, The Unknown is able to launch a projectile of unknown origin, leaving behind a toxic area where it lands. Once it lands a hit, it becomes Unbound, which allows it to quickly leap through windows. It has an Unforseen ability that when kicking a generator, your Terror Radius transfers to that generator, allowing you to become undetectable. Finally, there’s Undone, which allows you to Gain Tokens whenever a Survivor misses a Skill Check. Damaging a generator consumes all tokens, and for each token consumed, the generator loses 1% total progress and becomes blocked for 1 second.

As for the new Survivor, Sable is equipped with a book of Invocations, which grants her the ability to cast Invocation: Weaving Spiders. While the task demands some time to complete, once it’s finished, all players are granted a boost to their Repair progress. The trade-off being that all players are Injured and Broken for the remainder of the Trial. Sable is also to use Strength in Shadows to heal without a medkit, while her Wicked ability allows her to get herself unhooked.

Dead by Daylight, is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store.
