Obayaty is shaking up the world of men’s beauty
Are we on the precipice of a new era of men’s beauty? Deliberately developed for men, celebrity-backed beauty brand Obayaty has made its debut.
The brains behind the brand are founders Anna Ryott, Lajjo Strand, Pontus Frankenstein and Max Martin (who wrote Blank Space by Taylor Swift and …Baby One More Time by Britney Spears), with additional collaboration from big-shot songwriter and fellow producer, Savan Kotecha. This team has joined forces to bring forth a seven-piece collection of products ranging from concealers and eye pencils, to nail polishes and lip balms all stored in sleek, minimalist packaging designed with sustainability in mind.
As a new player in the beauty realm and the maker of “tools and inspiration for self-care and self-expression,” Obayaty has certainly piqued our interest.
Glossier and Starface team up to launch a limited-edition pimple patches
Breaking beauty news! Two of the buzziest brands in the industry have collaborated on a limited-edition collection of pimple patches that are almost too cute for words.
Starface’s signature hydrocolloid patches have been rehoused in a Glossier-coded pastel pink compact, and reshaped to reflect the sticker designs Glossier first included with every order when the brand first launched in 2014. From peace signs and hearts to cherries and rainbows, you can patch your pimples up with whichever of these nostalgic doodles best fits your mood — or your outfit!
What’s more, you can also stock up on refill packs before the collection is gone for good. Needless to say, this collab is a match made in skincare heaven.
Bath & Body Works drops hand soap refills
Fans of Bath & Body Works will be thrilled to learn about the arrival of 32-ounce Gentle & Clean Foaming Soap Refills. Supersizing fan-favourite fragrances like Kitchen Lemon, Mahogany Teakwood and Champagne Toast, these recyclable cartons contain enough liquid to refill 3.6 bottles of standard Bath & Body Works soap. When shopping these soap refills, consider picking up one of the brand’s newly launched reusable glass soap dispensers to pair with them.
