Rabanne’s First-Ever Makeup Collection Is Here + More Beauty News
Plus, Glossier introduces its first foundation.
Rabanne Makeup drops its first collection
When Paco Rabanne dropped its first name to become ‘Rabanne’ at the start of the summer, we knew that more major changes were soon to follow. Now, two months into the brand’s new era of modern minimalism, Rabanne makes its first foray into the world of luxury beauty. Rabanne Makeup introduces a futuristic yet nostalgic collection of cosmetics: “Eyephoria,” for the eyes, “Rouge Rabanne,” for the lips, “Nudes,” for a luminous complexion, and “Arts Factory,” to satisfy your inner creative with a selection of unparalleled, art-inspired products. True to the brand, these high-performance products are housed in glossy gold and silver packaging inspired by the Spanish fashion house itself — with iconic motifs like the metallic 1969 bag and signature XL link jewelry strung throughout the collection. With legendary makeup artist Diane Kendal at the helm of this new creative venture, Rabanne Makeup is proving to be just as jaw-dropping as the brand’s fashions.
Starface unveils a new tea tree oil-infused pimple patch
In the skincare world, tea tree oil is renowned for its skin-soothing and anti-inflammatory properties — which would make it the perfect addition to any pimple patch. That’s why it’s the star ingredient in Starface’s newly launched hydrocolloid Hydro-Star + Tea Tree patches. The star-shaped pimple patches we all know and love are now available with a tea tree base to help naturally cleanse stubborn spots, while unclogging pores and soothing the skin as it all goes down. Plus, this launch introduces a new green colourway with a calming, earthy scent.
Glossier’s first foundation is here
Glossier’s very first foundation has arrived, and its name is Stretch! Stretch Fluid Foundation offers up more coverage than the brand’s existing Perfecting Skin Tint, but still feels light on the skin and can be built up from light to medium coverage for up to 12 hours of wear. Designed to live “with you, not on you,” this foundation has an 89% skincare base within its formula, which also happens to be both transfer- and sweat-resistant. What’s more, there are 32 shades to choose from across seven shade families with varying undertones, so everyone can find their perfect match. Now that’s range.
Tower 28 enters the world of concealer
When you’re talking about drying, cakey concealers that crease under the eye, leave Tower 28’s latest launch out of the conversation. Fusing the texture of a serum with the coverage of a traditional complexion product, the Swipe Serum Concealer provides a seamless stroke of medium, buildable coverage that reads like skin. Brought to life with the help of celebrity makeup artist Kirin Bhatty, this sensitive skin-safe concealer is packed with hyaluronic acid and centella asiatica leaf to ensure a smooth, hydrating application that doesn’t stick to dry patches. In addition, the lysine and amino acid that coats the pigments within this concealer promote collagen production and prevent dryness. Available in 20 shades, this launch is a must-have for those with dryer skin types.
