Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio Seen Hanging All Weekend In the Hamptons

Over the weekend, Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid were spotted in each other’s company once again, rekindling rumors that they are dating. The alleged couple were seen at the blow out Fourth of July party hosted by Tao Group founder Marc Packer in the Hamptons on Saturday night, as well as David Rosenberg’s event in Bridgehampton. They were then seen at a second party, Akiva and Garry Kanfer’s bash at Kissaki in Water Mill.

“They are together,” a source told Page Six. “The way they were talking to each other… You could feel the energy.”

However, another source explained that DiCaprio and Hadid are part of the same friend group, and were hanging out in a crowd — not as a couple. The weekend events in the Hamptons were certainly star-studded. Just at Kissaki were celebs like Quavo, James Harden, Odell Beckham Jr, Winnie Harlow, and Jonathan Cheban.

Speculation about Hadid and DiCaprio’s relationship status has been ongoing, with Us Weekly recently stating the are in “a friendly, no-strings ‘situationship’ right now.”

However, a source told the Daily Mail that DiCaprio is not “cheap” or casual. The source confirmed they did date briefly and have since become only friends.

“They tried dating some time ago to see if there could be anything there, but there just wasn’t,” the source explained. “They are friends and have been for so long, but they are not in an open relationship with no-strings-attached. People just need to let this go. That is not how Leonardo handles relationships. This makes him sound cheap and that he is not. When he is with someone, he is with them. He enjoys his friendship with Gigi and that is that.”

“It is just ridiculous that a man and a woman cannot be friends without everyone insisting there is more to it,” the source added.
