‘Skinamarink’ Brings the Terror to Blu-ray in June With Director’s Commentary Track
The very premise and violent nature of the Elizabeth Banks-directed horror-comedy Cocaine Bear screams “maximum.” But it’s about to get much more unbearably over-the-top with a new Cocaine Bear Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital “Maximum Rampage Edition” home release.
The “Maximum Rampage Edition” comes loaded with behind-the-scenes extras, including an alternate ending, deleted scenes, and gag reel, and will be yours to own on Digital April 14, 2023, and Blu-ray™ and DVD April 18, 2023, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
The movie is inspired by true events that took place in Kentucky in 1985, and it was written by Jimmy Warden. Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) produced.
Cocaine Bear is “Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild dark comedy finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow … and blood.”
