How Hailey Bieber Is Privately Coping With the Selena Gomez TikTok Drama

Hailey Bieber may publicly be keeping silent about fans on TikTok dissecting her history with her husband Justin Bieber’s ex Selena Gomez, but she is aware of what’s happening. A source spoke to Us Weekly about how she is coping with the attacks on her character and accusations that she is secretly a “mean girl.” The source also seemed to debunk some fans’ speculation that Hailey and Justin’s marriage was strained at all.

The source explained, “Justin has been an amazing support system for Hailey throughout all this. He knows how happy Hailey felt after she and Selena made amends and thought they had put this all behind them.”

Selena and Hailey were photographed together in October at the Academy Museum Gala, where they signaled publicly that they were on good terms. Fans started digging into Hailey’s past treatment of Selena in late February 2023, when fans speculated that Instagram Stories posted by Hailey and Kylie Jenner were mocking Selena. Selena and Kylie denied this was the case, but it kicked off a trend of fans reviewing Hailey’s history with Justin and Selena.

The Biebers are united, the source continued to Us: Hailey “[has] been leaning on Justin and knows he has her back no matter what. Their marriage is stronger than ever, and it’s challenging times like this that only strengthen their bond.”

Hailey made that much clear in her interview with Vogue Australia, which was published at the end of February. Justin asked her what her favorite thing about their four-year marriage was, and she replied, “Mmm … My favorite thing about being married is honestly the companionship I feel we have. Genuinely, you are my best friend in the entire world. There’s nobody I would rather spend more time with or do anything with.”

Us‘s intel comes after Justin went viral for giving out a party favor that some fans interpreted as “shade” toward Selena at his 29th birthday party this weekend. Justin gave out a lighter cover that said, “I’m so thankful I didn’t end up with what I thought I wanted,” a token that may just be reflective of his overall life journey more so than his love life.
