Keke Palmer Is a New Mom! See the First Photos of Her Baby

Congratulations are in order for Keke Palmer.

The actress has welcomed her first child, a son named Leodis Andrellton Jackson, with boyfriend Darius Jackson.

The Nope star shared the news Monday night on her Instagram, and in her post included the first photos and videos of her newborn as well as of her and Jackson looking happy together as new parents.

“Hey Son!!!!” she wrote in the caption. “Only 48hrs of being parents! 😳.”

She noted that baby Leo was born during Black History Month, and praised her boyfriend for his love.

In one clip, Jackson is seen cradling their baby boy in the hospital delivery room while Palmer lays in the hospital bed. And in a photo, Jackson is seen leaning over Palmer and their child, sweetly holding her head and smiling.

The last slide is a photo of baby Leo wearing a grey onesie and a white beanie, looking cozy while wrapped in blankets and napping on a bed.

Palmer announced her pregnancy last December during her Saturday Night Live hosting debut. During her monologue, she jokingly addressed the rumors about her pregnancy, and ended the speech by unbuttoning her coat and revealing her growing baby bump.

“There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight — I am!” she said.

Jackson and Palmer started dating in early summer 2021 and went Instagram official that August. Now, with Palmer’s confirmed pregnancy, the two seem to be headed down a more serious path. “Honestly, this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited, guys—I’m gonna be a mom!” Palmer said during her opening monologue on SNL. “Even though some people feel a little weird about me having a baby ’cause I was a child actor, I just wanna say, ‘Look, I’m 29, I’m grown, I have sex [and] I own a home. … You know, things adults do.’”
