Twitter Reacts to Hints That Beyoncé Might Be Dropping New Music On Her Website
No one knows exactly what’s about to happen with Beyoncé, but fans are pretty sure it’s something big. On Friday, June 10, all of her profile photos on her social media accounts suddenly disappeared. Now, when you go to the musical artist’s Instagram page, her profile photo is a blank grey figure. She also hadn’t been posting since March and then suddenly dropped a bunch of new pictures of her fantastic fashion on the timeline that same week.
Some fans then noticed that on Beyoncé’s website, a funny thing happens when you type in the date, June 11. A black image with Beyoncé’s name captioned “Image, B7” pops up. It also appears when users search “June 10,” according to Vulture. This mystery message makes the Bey Hive think that her seventh album is about to drop. Supporting these rumors, her mother, Tina Knowles, recently liked a post that refers to these hints. Beyoncé’s last album was the smash hit Lemonade, released in 2016, so fans have been waiting for a while.
In August 2021, she was featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, and gave a little insight into her music making process and what a new Beyoncé album might sound like.
“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again,” she said. “I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible.”
She continued, “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”
Well, the fans can’t wait and you can read some of their reactions below. If this is how they feel about a text image, imagine what will happen when there’s actually something to stream:
