The internet’s favourite beauty rebel is finally bringing what they do so well in skincare (scientific formulas, utter transparency and excellent prices) to your hair routine. One of the biggest messages sure to turn heads is the brand’s pro-sulfate approach. In recent years, beauty fans have turned against the ingredient (which creates lather but is also thought to be overly drying to the hair), however The Ordinary’s stance is that it’s still the key to effectively ditching dirt and sebum when used in the correct concentrations (instead of, say, as the first or second ingredient). The hair care line from The Ordinary contains a shampoo (with 4 per cent sulphate) that can also be used on the body, a light conditioner and a post-wash hydrating scalp treatment with hyaluronic acid.

Charlotte Tilbury’s new Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil is formulated with a potent plant-based protein (which the brand calls the next-generation collagen matrix) that plumps skin and leaves a radiant glow while also forming a barrier on the skin to seal in moisture throughout the day or overnight. For a relaxing spa-like experience, it also contains lavender, Damask rose, neroli and eucalyptus oils.

Designed with a new bottle made from 40 per cent recycled glass, a bio-sourced cap and FSC carton, Make Up For Ever’s new and improved HD Skin Foundation has been developed to mimic and blend in with your skin as realistically as possible under any light source. The long-time industry darling is also water- and sweat-proof and instantly blurs the complexion. It’s also buildable for light to full coverage in a semi-matte finish. If you’re already a fan, many of the existing shades will still be available in the new 40-shade offering, which serves up hues in four shade families and three undertones.

Holistic skincare brand Holifrog (inspired by how the skin of frogs is so thin and permeable it absorbs everything in its surroundings) has released a new type of exfoliating mask that goes way beyond your standard skin smoothing processes. Instead, the Kosi Multi-Acid Mask reaches the cellular level to prevent further skin damage and help eradicate signs of stressed skin, such as general dullness and splotchy patches. A mega-blend of AHAs, PHA and BHA help brighten the skin and target hyper-pigmentation. The mask also contains anti-inflammatory magnesium and a potent blend of anti-oxidants such as neem leaf, gingko biloba and turmeric root to calm and protect the skin.
