Selena Gomez Wore 3 Chic Coats in One Day While Filming Only Murders in the Building
Selena Gomez is back in New York City shooting her Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, and the paparazzi got an extensive look at some of her season 2 wardrobe so far. The actress was photographed in three different coats on set today.
The first style was a cozy lime green wrap coat. She wore her hair down and paired it with dark pants and lug-sole shoes.
Gomez’s second winter look was tan and even cozier. The actress was seen in cream culottes, black shoes, and a camel teddy coat with an oversized tan scarf.
Her last look was a puffer coat with a dazzling gray marble print, worn with cream pants. She accessorized with a cream scarf around her head. The weather outside in New York City is a frigid 32 degrees, after all.
Only Murders in the Building co-creator John Hoffman teased a little with ELLE.com during a Twitter Spaces in October about what’s in store for Gomez’s character Mabel in season 2.
“I think what’s going to be interesting in season 2—not to tip off too much—but there’s a bit of an expansion to all their stories,” Hoffman said. “In New York, it doesn’t take long for an interesting story to take headlines. So there is an expansion happening around everything in their lives and in the podcast. I think there’s something in there that might help us expand the show, maybe beyond the building, in future seasons.”
In terms of what happens to Mabel after the first season’s finale, Hoffman said, “It’s a real question, right? It’s an awful way to say it. It is a real question. They’re all in the hot seat. They’ve all stepped in it, and Mabel is certainly even a bit more in the spotlight. The opportunity that might come from that is what’s intriguing to us as we go into a season two. Mabel’s life is going to get a little bit bigger in season 2.”
