Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu dancing to Rihanna, RuPaul and more proves she’s the icon and the moment

Now that Resident Evil Village has been released, the world can finally experience in full the icon that is Lady Dimitrescu.

The big tall vampire lady, as she’s colloquially known, has spearheaded the game’s promotion and sets the campy gothic tone for the rest of the game.

That’s along with her three daughters, who collectively thirst for Ethan’s “man blood”.

Honestly, almost every line Lady Dimitrescu speaks is iconic.

“Oh, so gauche,” she scoffs in one early scene, “the man thing’s suffering is assured.”

Later she hounds you for laying your “filthy man-hands” on her daughters, then chases you shouting “disgusting outsider” and “stupid man thing”. Vampires really do like to play with their food.

Then there’s the way she sashays towards Ethan, laps ferociously at his freshly cut wrist and savours the taste of his blood like fine wine. It’s just so… erotic.

It’s no wonder the internet has been calling for her to step on them ever since her reveal.

But did you know that Lady Dimitrescu… could dance?

Thanks to Twitter account ladyddancing, we can now witness her body rolls in all their glory.

And with her taste for man blood, it’s only fitting that Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater” would be the song of choice.

Yes, it’s the same dance as Kermit.

But that’s not all. What about Lady D dancing to Rihanna’s “S&M”? Appropriate for this devastating femme fatale – who needs chains and whips when you’ve got a big hat and a taste for blood?

K-Pop fans unite: here’s Lady D dancing to Loona’s “Hi High”.

Or how about some Ra Ra Rasputin from Boney M?

Fans love the maneater so much, there’s now even a fancam montage video.

And as if Lady Dimitrescu wasn’t already drag queen inspiration, she’s even been made to dance to Ru Paul.

No wonder streamers like Deere, Eevolicious and Dona Tarte love her.

If you’re wondering how Lady Dimitrescu came to life, behind the scenes footage has been released of actress Maggie Robertson in motion capture action.
