Emma Stone Gave a Rare Look at Her Maternity Style, Stepping Out in a Chic Black Coat and Dress

But yesterday, the 32-year-old actress went out in Santa Monica, where a photographer got a rare glimpse of her maternity style. Stone dressed up in a monochrome look, wearing a black maxi dress and black coat. She carried a black bucket bag and finished the look off with brown sandals and sunglasses.

Stone has not revealed her exact due date nor has she commented directly on her pregnancy. But in January, a source spoke to E! about how Stone is doing. That source explained that Stone has spent most of her time at her Malibu home, traveling only locally during the coronavirus pandemic.

The actress is “very excited about her pregnancy and what’s to come,” the source said. The time away from work due the COVID-19 has been nice too, the source added: “She has always wanted a family and can’t wait to be a mom. She’s felt very lucky that she got to be at home during this period of time and wasn’t working long days on set.”

Stone has been active throughout her pregnancy, E! said, doing a lot “of walking in the hills around her house. She loves being by the ocean and getting to spend time outdoors being active.”

Stone spoke to Jennifer Lawrence for ELLE in 2018 about her hope to become a mother in her 30s. “My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older,” she told Lawrence. “I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.” Stone and her husband Dave McCary secretly got married last year.
