Rihanna Spreads Holiday Cheer With A Fan In Barbados

Rihanna knows that all the world wants for Christmas is her long-awaited ninth album. She’s not quite ready to put that under the tree, but she’s still spreading holiday cheer in other ways. This week, while home in Barbados for the holidays, RiRi surprised an unsuspecting fan at a gas station.

In a video posted to Twitter, Rihanna and the fan (who are both wearing masks) can be seen laughing together. “Herself, in person, Rihanna,” the fan announces. A recently-mulleted Rihanna responds, “At a random gas station. We’re not even buying gas. We’re not even driving.” Then the fan thanks RiRi for making his holidays brighter. “One in a million. My Christmas just got made merry,” he said, to which Rihanna exclaimed, “Barbados!”

The feel-good exchange occurred after Rihanna reportedly flew to the island via private jet last week, according to Page Six. One person not (yet) spotted with RiRi is her new boyfriend A$AP Rocky. A source confirmed to People earlier this month that the longtime friends were officially dating after Page Six reported their date night at NYC’s Beatrice Inn.

The couple does share a Barbados bond. “They have always had amazing chemistry and Rihanna relates to A$AP and it feels natural, easy and fun,” a source tells Entertainment Tonight about their relationship. “She feels very comfortable around him since they’ve known each other for such a long time and also feels a connection to him because his dad is from Barbados.”
